Rockland Fire Department Hydrant Challenge

After seeing the success from the challenge our friends at Hanover MA Fire Department issued, the amazing Starland Sportsplex and Fun Park reached out to us at Rockland Fire and provided gift certificates for us to issue our own challenge. We know we are late to the party but more snow is in the forecast. Your firefighters have been out trying to shovel some of the hydrants that were still buried, but there are still a lot left that need some help.

So we are issuing our own challenge to Rockland elementary and middle school kids. Find a snowed in hydrant and shovel it out.

Who: Elementary & Middle School aged Rockland residents.

When: Saturday January 31st and Sunday February 1st

What: Shovel out a hydrant (3’ around), snap a photo with the shoveler in it, post the photo and street/location in the comments of this post, then repeat by replying to your first comment.
