Proud to share that the Department of Public Health has just completed our annual survey at Dwyer Home at Fairing Way, resulting in no findings for the second consecutive year.

This achievement speaks volumes about the commitment, professionalism, and teamwork of our entire organization.

Thank you to our dedicated team, Brian Freedman, LNHA, and Julie Francoeur, DON, Diana Guarino, Pritchard, Social Services Director, Christine Nash, Community Programs Director, Brian White, Food Service Director, Gary Guarino, Maintenance Director, Leslie Reeves, Donna Leavens, Business Office Director, Martin, ADON, and Jay Skypeck to the residents, families, and community partners who support our mission every day.

As we move into 2026, we are excited by several upcoming initiatives that will further complement and strengthen our services and deepen the impact we have across the South Shore community.

We had an unforgettable day on Martha’s Vineyard celebrating our incredible team of directors. Their leadership is the heart of our thriving independent living community Fairing Way and this day was all about showing appreciation for everything they do.

From ferry rides to scenic views, guided tour and great conversations, this trip captured the spirit of what makes our team so special. Perfect timing, too celebrating 50 years of Jaws in the place where it all began! 🦈

Today, we pause to recognize Juneteenth, a significant day in American history marking the end of slavery in the United States. On June 19, 1865, two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation, enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, finally received word of their freedom.

Juneteenth is a powerful reminder of the long journey toward justice, equality, and civil rights—and a celebration of resilience, culture, and progress.

At Fairing Way and Dwyer Home, we honor this day with reflection, education, and unity. We encourage our residents, staff, and friends to take a moment to learn more about the significance of Juneteenth and the ongoing pursuit of equity in all communities.

Celebrating Nurses Week with Gratitude!

This week, we honor the incredible dedication, compassion, and care our nursing team brings every single day. 💙

To kick off the celebration, our Director of Nursing, Julie Francour, RN, made a special stop at Donut King Weymouth to pick up these delicious donuts for our amazing team!

We're also especially thankful to have our in-house physician, Dr. Begoli, spend meaningful time with our nurses; his support and collaboration mean so much to us.
