Think you know sports training? Here are some common myths:

“No pain, no gain” - Pushing through pain often leads to injury, not progress.

“Stretching before activity prevents injury” - Dynamic warm-ups are better; static stretches are best post-exercise.

“You only need to train the muscles you see” - Core, hips, and stabilizers matter for performance and injury prevention.

“Rest days aren’t important” - Recovery is when your body adapts and gets stronger.

Our PT team helps athletes train smart, recover properly, and avoid common mistakes so you can stay in the game. 💪

Hit the slopes this winter without setbacks! 🏔️ Here’s how to protect yourself from common skiing and snowboarding injuries:

Warm-Up Before You Go: 5-10 minutes of dynamic stretches (leg swings, torso rotations, and ankle circles).

Strengthen Core & Legs: Squats, lunges, and planks keep you stable on uneven terrain.

Mobility Matters: Hip and ankle mobility drills improve control and prevent falls.

Protect Your Knees: Balance and single-leg exercises help prevent ACL injuries.

Don’t Ignore Fatigue: Tired muscles = higher injury risk. Take breaks and hydrate!

Our PT team can design a pre-season program tailored for your sport and skill level so you can shred safely. ❄️

Heel pain slowing you down? 😣 Plantar fasciitis is common in runners, hikers, and athletes. PT can help by:

Stretching & Strengthening - Calf stretches, toe curls, and foot doming improve mechanics.

Manual Therapy - Soft tissue work on the plantar fascia and calf muscles.

Footwear Guidance - Proper shoes and orthotics reduce stress on the fascia.

Activity Modification - Gradual return to running, jumping, or hiking without aggravation.

With the right PT plan, you can reduce pain, prevent recurrence, and get back to your favorite activities faster.

Desk jobs, parenting, or training hard - your posture matters! Try these simple daily hacks:

Screen at Eye Level - Avoid neck strain while working or gaming.

Engage Your Core - Sit or stand tall, gently pulling your belly button toward your spine.

Micro-Stretch Breaks - Every 30–60 minutes, stretch chest, shoulders, and hamstrings.

Strengthen Your Upper Back - Rows or band pull-aparts counteract rounded shoulders.

Foot Placement Matters - Keep feet flat on the floor when seated to reduce lower back stress.

Small daily adjustments = less pain.
