Let's talk about being proactive with your bones. 🦴
The DEXA scan is the gold standard for measuring bone density—but most women aren't sent for one until their 60s. The problem? Bone density can decline rapidly at the onset of menopause, often well before 60. And other factors like GLP-1s, a history of disordered eating, or prolonged low estrogen can accelerate bone loss even earlier.
My recommendation: get a DEXA sooner to establish a baseline so you can catch changes early and track your progress over time. It's affordable, non-invasive, and the choices you're making in your 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s genuinely matter for your bones.
