Love isn’t a mystery to solve — it’s a bond to nurture.

Do you know the difference? Empathy is feeling with someone, sharing their emotional journey. Sympathy is feeling for someone, offering comfort from a distance. Both important💙

Giving Thanks for Healing & Connection

This Thanksgiving season, we are reminded of the power of connection. At the heart of every relationship is a deep need for safety, trust, and emotional closeness—an unspoken “I see you, I need you, I’m here for you.”

For many, the holiday season can bring both joy and stress, sometimes highlighting the tender places in our relationships. These moments are opportunities to lean into understanding and rebuild the secure bonds that matter most.

Emotionally Focused Therapy teaches us that conflict often stems from unmet needs for connection and reassurance. When we can pause, recognize the emotions beneath the surface, reach for one another, and respond to our loved one’s reaches, healing and closeness are possible.

This season, let’s focus on gratitude—not just for the things we share, but for the courage it takes to build and strengthen our bonds. Every step toward deeper understanding and connection is a step toward lasting love.

If you’re ready to create more security and closeness in your relationship, we’re here to help you navigate the journey.
