Life can’t stop because of injuries …

Bad landing.
Rolled ankle. 😬

The foot = 26 bones working together.
When a few get stuck, everything feels unstable.

Get the joints moving → restore function → get back to play.

By restoring motion early, athletes can recover faster and more safely.

Skiing is one of my favorite things to do. Felt great at the end of day 1 of the season. I attribute that to strength training legs and core AND devoting time to recovery. Thankful to the Well Beings team for helping me train the deep core muscles.

Many people have “eat healthier “as a New Year’s resolution. PLANNING is one of the keys to success. I am old school with scrap paper and pen. My meal categories are:
Meatless Monday, Taco Tuesday, Where in the World Wednesday, Thigh Thursday (chicken), Fish Friday, Sat and Sunday are leftovers or out to eat. It’s a simple approach, where the categories are broad enough to allow for creativity and flexibility. I do know my macros and do my best to make sure I meet those in every meal. How do you plan your nutrition for the week?

In case you missed it, here's the replay of the tips to meeting your fitness goals this year. Spoiler alert.. it's the commitment to the process that is the magic not the attachment to the goal. He talks about asking these three questions (thanks ) and .b.peterson .
1. What is bothering me?
2. Can I do something about it?
3. Am I willing to do what it takes to get to my goals?

Getting clear on the answer to these three questions, allows commitment to flow naturally. Stay the course!

What’s love got to do with it? Everything… sometimes it’s just showing up on a bike - on a road to nowhere and sweating it out! It doesn’t always have to be big . More likely it’s the quiet, consistent work that gets the job done! Thanks for a killer ride! Good for the mind, body, and soul!
