Hans J Sieber, MC, LPC

Hans J Sieber, MC, LPC Providing Mental Health and Wellness Counseling in Denver, Colorado. My approach to therapy is interactive, directive and educational.

I will give you feedback and help you learn positive coping skills, change unhealthy thinking patterns, and learn to enjoy healthy relationships. Through counseling you may begin to find that you have more choices and more control over your life. You will learn practical skills which you can use on a daily basis to make life more fulfilling. Through the therapy process, you can create healthier relationships, learn to make concious decisions, and regain the ability to enjoy your life. I primarily use a Cognitive-Behavioral approach which focuses on the impact that your thoughts have upon emotions and behavior. We work together to change those thinking patterns which then improves your mood. I will also work with you to change negative behaviors, be more in control, and make better choices.

Migraines cause great pain for many people. While medications can help reduce pain, they don't address the root cause for most people. Pain reprocessing can help! Here is link to some great information:

The vast majority of head pain and migraines are not caused by structural damage to the head. They are a result of a brain-induced, neuroplastic (or mind-body) process which is reversible through retraining the brain. By reinterpreting pain signals as not a sign of damage, fear can be reduced. Disco
