Most people don’t realize this…

Pain isn’t always where the problem is.

That hip pain? Could be coming from your low back.
That shoulder issue? Possibly your neck.

I specialize in finding the root cause and correcting it—not just chasing symptoms.

If you’ve tried massage, stretching, or even chiropractic without lasting results, it might be time for a different approach.

I have a few openings this week—reach out if you’d like help getting to the bottom of it.

One of the things I hear often from clients:

“I’ve never had bodywork like this before.”

This isn’t your typical massage. It’s targeted, intentional work designed to actually fix what’s going on.

If you’re tired of temporary relief and ready for real results, I’d love to help.

A few spots have opened up—message me to grab one.

I am a Clinical Orthopedic Manual Therapist with expertise in deep tissue massage and advanced bodywork techniques. My focus is on alleviating stress, addressing chronic pain, promoting an active lifestyle, and aiding in recovery from sports, accidents, and injuries, enabling individuals to resume the activities they love.

My approach involves identifying potential contributing factors to your discomfort and providing guidance on preventive measures. I integrate orthopedic manual therapy methods with trigger point therapy, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, hot stones, and other deep tissue modalities to alleviate or eliminate pain and enhance range of motion. One of my favorite treatments is moist heat therapy, which helps increase blood flow, relax muscles, and alleviate pain and stiffness in joints and muscles. I have tailored my approach to deep tissue therapy to minimize discomfort and soreness, with many clients even experiencing relaxation to the point of falling asleep during sessions.

I work Tuesday - Saturday and sessions are by appointment. Please call 331-575-4084 to schedule and leave a detailed message if you get voicemail as I am most likely with a client.

You might say you don’t have time to stretch because you have kids. But here’s an idea—stretch with them.

Teaching children to stretch twice a day not only sets a healthy routine, it gives them a lifelong habit they’ll thank you for. Imagine them growing up free of joint pain because they learned early how to care for their bodies.

Start now, and make it a family routine that supports long-term wellness—for you and them.

Most people think stretching is just for athletes or fitness buffs. Not true.
We all need to stretch—every day.

Why? Because every muscle crosses a joint to move our body. Throughout the day, our muscles contract microscopically, even when we’re not active. Over time, this creates joint tension and compression, which can contribute to osteoarthritis (OA).

I recommend stretching twice a day.
Hold each stretch for 30 seconds, repeat both sides twice, and never push into pain.

A few mindful minutes each day can make a lifetime of difference.

There are over 100 types of arthritis that affect humans, and the most common is osteoarthritis (OA). Medical News Today states, “OA is a degenerative joint disease that worsens over time. Currently, there is no cure for this condition.”

But here’s what the medical world often overlooks: OA is frequently triggered by tight muscles. Whether we’re active or sedentary, our muscles contract microscopically all day long, creating tension that compresses our joints.

Has your doctor ever recommended daily stretching, therapeutic massage, or even an Epsom salt bath? Probably not. Why? Because these simple tools calm the nervous system and remind your muscles of their true, relaxed length.

I encourage my clients to stretch twice a day, hold each stretch for 30 seconds, do both sides twice, and never push into pain.

More on OA tomorrow…

💆‍♀️ Relief That Lasts — Massage with a Purpose
Annie Moore, BCTM | Clinical Orthopedic Manual Therapist

Ever left a massage feeling either bruised and sore, or like all that happened was lotion got rubbed on?

My approach is different. I use precise, therapeutic techniques to target the root of pain, restore movement, and relieve tension, without leaving you in more pain than you came with. These sessions are designed for real results, not just temporary relaxation.

If you’re ready to feel better and move better, let’s get you on the table.
