It’s NOT about what the scale says, the weight you lose, the weight you gain… it’s about the nutrition you
consume and the weights you lift!!
It isn’t about how fast you lose the weight, it’s about the habits you are consistent with AND how long you continue them! If you’re faced with a decision that seems too good to be true, it MAY BE!!
If a monthly shot helps you BEGIN the process of developing better habits of eating more protein, fiber and better carbs and fat, then do it!! If a monthly shot helps give you energy to start a weight training and fitness program that you can put into your daily routine for life, then DO IT!! SHORT TERM!!
If a monthly shot is going to curb your appetite and you are relying on that to lose weight for the rest of your life (or even for a year!!) then there will be problems! When you don’t eat, your body uses muscle as energy, you lose weight!! The more weigh you lose, the more muscle you lose, the fat is saved and your body becomes weaker, your
metabolism slows and it becomes more difficult to ever get that back!
Congrats, you’ve lose weight; but at the expense of all your muscle mass (including your heart!) you’ll experience your loss of collagen, saggy skin and disruption hormones and may other side effects from the chemicals!
Not a smart way to lose weight!!
