At the Honors Convocation Chapel, our PCFT Undergrad, Calista Chaidez, was one of the recipients of the Alumni Association Senior Scholarship award.

She is a psychology major with double minor in Christian Formation & Ministry AND Communication. Over 88+ recipients applied but only the top 5 recipients won the scholarship. A large group photo will also be featured in the upcoming Wheaton Magazine.

Today in Barrows Auditorium, we had all PFCT students join together for a department chapel. Drs. Ray Phinney, Chuck Liu, Bill Struthers, and doctoral student Ezequiel Cruz-Gutierrez led an uplifting worship. Then 4th year Doctoral Student, Marlyn Chakwera, shared the Word intertwining a childhood folkstory on how we need to act on obedience when we make Him our Lord.

Join us on a free event designed to help Christians in the Wheaton area learn and discuss how to serve those in their communities who have experienced trauma and abuse.

For those who donโ€™t know Rachael Denhollanderโ€ฆBriefly, she is an American lawyer and former gymnast. She was the first woman to publicly accuse Larry Nassar, the former Michigan State University, and the USA Gymnastics physician, of sexual assault. She received the 2018 Glamour Woman of the Year and was included in Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People of 2018. She also received the 2021 Abraham Kuyper Prize for Excellence in Reformed Theology and Public Life.

PCFT's Dr. Tammy Schultz, Professor of Counseling and Co-coordinator of the Trauma Certificate Program, will also be part of the evening!
