Surrounded by the love of his family, Verne Wesley Bintz passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, at nearly 98 years of age, after a long and beautiful life. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 73 years, Sally, with whom he built a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventure.

My heart is broken.

It is with the heaviest of heart that we let you know my dad, Verne Bintz, passed away on October 29, 2025. He died peacefully at home surrounded by love.

I am privileged to have worked with my father for over 25 years. His Wisdom, instincts, and integrity have been second to none in our industry. His spirit will live strong in the Verne Bintz Company.

There are few things my dad loved more than his customers. He truly felt you were family. Thank you to all the love you have returned to us over the years and thank you, in advance, for your support during this difficult time.

Well, since it is snowing here at the Verne Bintz Company today, I thought it was worth resharing this Toe-tally fun fact...

Toe-tally fun fact: The wide, fur-covered paws of a snow leopard serve as natural snowshoes, helping to distribute its weight over soft snow and protect it from the cold. Snow leopards can travel over an incredible 25 miles in a single night!

Toetally fun fact: 1. With almost 8,000 nerves, it’s no wonder that feet win the award for “Most Ticklish Body Part.” But don’t lament the tickles–having ticklish feet means that all those nerves are firing correctly. Feet that don’t respond to a soft tickle could indicate a problem like neuropathy, or damage to the nerves and tissue of the foot.
