Dear Patients,
This will be a long message, but important, so please take some time to read about the exciting and bittersweet changes coming to our practice in the new year.
First and foremost, Sapphire’s last month with the clinic will be January 2026. She is transitioning into a new job that will allow greater flexibility in her personal life along with an opportunity to work from home. She has wanted to be able to do this for a while, as it not only promotes a greater work/life balance but also allows her to spend more time with her family. We will miss her but wish her well in her new adventure!
Sapphire’s departure will drive some new and exciting changes in the practice. I, Dr. Patrick, will be the only person in the office, meaning I will be the one checking you in and out, treating you, and everything in-between.
To promote efficiency and convenience for everyone, the clinic will also begin offering online booking and electronic bill pay. For those who prefer more traditional scheduling, I will answer the phones as I am able and will quickly return missed calls and voicemails, so if you do not catch me, do not be afraid to leave a message. Also, YES, we are joining the current millennium and will start to accept credit cards sometime very soon. We are still ironing out the details with our vendor, but you can expect to be able to pay with credit, debit, or HSA cards at the beginning of 2026. You will still be able to pay with cash or check if you prefer not to pay electronically.
I understand this will be a big change, but I believe it will create an even better patient experience with greater convenience and more direct contact with me. Thank you in advance for your patience as we make this transition.
Our website should be rolling out next week. Please stay tuned here on Facebook to see when we officially launch it. We will have a tab on the website that will allow you to quickly and efficiently book your own, or a family member’s, appointment on your own time. Tweak your back on a Sunday? Forget waiting until Monday morning to call and try to get the earliest appointment. You can simply check our availability online and immediately book an appointment for when we are next open.
One final exciting update: we will be in-network with Medica and United Healthcare (including UMR) insurance as of January 1, 2026. Due to insurance changes in 2026, there will be a small change to cash pricing. We are required to bill adjustments based on how many areas are treated: 1-2 regions will continue to be $50.00 and 3-4 regions will be $55.00.
If you made it this far in the message, thank you for your time. Please direct any questions, comments, or concerns to me as we take this leap of faith moving forward. I’m all ears and want to continue to provide the best care possible to all of my patients.
In health,
Dr. Patrick
