Your brain needs good fuel just like the rest of your body.

Eating more whole, nutritious foods can help support memory, focus, and overall brain health. Foods like leafy greens, berries, nuts, whole grains, and fish contain nutrients that help protect brain cells and support healthy brain function.

Highly processed foods and excess sugar can have the opposite effect and may increase inflammation and worsen mood and brain function.

Small changes in what you eat can make a difference over time. Try adding more fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats to your meals this week.

💙 March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

Colon cancer does not always hurt at first.
Many people feel fine and still have a problem growing inside.

That’s why checking early matters.

If you are tired all the time, have stomach pain, or notice changes when you use the bathroom, it’s okay to ask for help.

You do not need insurance to talk to a provider.
Care is available regardless of ability to pay.

We can help you understand what steps come next and where to go.

We are grateful to the Wheeling University Student Government for putting together care bags for our male patients during their annual physical visits.

Small acts of kindness can make a big difference. These bags will help support our patients and remind them that their community cares about their health and well-being.

Thank you to the students who took the time to organize and assemble them. Your thoughtfulness means a great deal to the patients we serve at Wheeling Health Right.

Wheeling Health Right is grateful for the many funders who support our Community Health Worker (CHW) program. Our CHW manages caseloads of high-risk patients through weekly telehealth and in-office visits, providing care coordination and helping patients stay on track with their healthcare. As the program grows, we plan to expand these visits into homes and public settings to further support lasting lifestyle changes.
We are especially thankful to the Bernard McDonough Foundation for its steadfast, multi-year support of this vital program.

If missing a week of work would put you behind on bills, read this. 💰

Most health problems don’t hit all at once.

They build while you’re working through the pain, feeling tired, or telling yourself you’ll deal with it later.

A simple check-up can catch problems early.

That helps you avoid emergencies that mean missed shifts, lost pay, and added stress.

Care is available for uninsured and underinsured adults.

Services are provided regardless of ability to pay.

If you’ve been wondering what an appointment is actually like, start with a phone call.

📞 Call 304-233-9323 and ask what to expect.

🦷 If you’ve been putting off the dentist because of cost, you’re not alone.

A lot of people live with tooth pain, swelling, or broken teeth because care feels out of reach.
But dental problems don’t stay small. They get worse. And they get more expensive.

This National Dentist’s Day, we want you to know this.
Dental care is available for qualifying adults at Wheeling Health Right.

💙 No insurance. No problem.
Services are provided at little or no charge for those who qualify.

🚐 Why visit a Mobile Care Unit instead of a clinic?

Because real life gets in the way.

People choose our Mobile Care Unit because:

– It’s closer to home or work. Less travel. Less time off.
– It fits real schedules. You don’t have to give up a whole day.
– Transportation isn’t always reliable. We come to the community.
– It’s an easier first step, especially if it’s been a while.
– Cost matters. Care is provided regardless of ability to pay, at little or no charge for those who qualify.
– Chronic conditions don’t pause. Blood pressure, diabetes, and medications still need attention.
– Waiting makes things harder. Small issues turn into emergencies fast.
