We've finally gotten through what I call "The Gauntlet of Couple's Massage Season"! So many couples for the month surrounding Valentine's Day! So that now means there is finally breathing room back in our scheduled to fit more Solo ( and Couple's) Massages back in.

Today, 12 years ago, I got the keys to my first brick & mortar location! Just me in one singular room. It's where I did all my massages, product making & retail services. Flash forward to today, and I have an entire floor of dedicated retail space, 2 massage rooms, a Salt Sanctuary, multiple gathering & reading spaces and I'm in the midst of outfitting another much needed therapy space. I have a great team of massage therapists, readers, and shop assistants who rally with me in my quest to help comfort & support you all here in the Valley. And the funny part is I really never set out to do all this. But the universe sent out a call and I listened and acted. What a journey it has been- and continues to be!

So, I juggle a lot of jobs in this business. And I am a hot mess. My brain is spinning a hundred plates at once- all the time! I do my very best to design this place so I can manage the operation of it all. I'm constantly tweaking things behind the scene for more organization. Some policies, such as online booking are a lifesaver for me so I have a digital, written record of booking requests or other communications. If you verbally talk with me about it, once it's past your lips, it becomes elusive as a "fart in the wind".... lol Sigh. And if I write a note randomly, even with the most intensive of tries to not lose it, 9 times out of 10 it will disappear off the face of the Earth. Is it in my "Extra Special Spot that I'm sure not to forget?" (Which I promptly forget) Or did it flutter into the garbage as one of us hurriedly flew by to help another? Or did the resident house gnomes hide it? Perhaps it will turn up, or perhaps not. This building is full of notes stuffed into a million different spots for safe keeping. I'm like the squirrel stuffing & hoarding nuts everywhere. Only to be forgotten and an entire forest grow as a result of their absentee memory.
UPDATE: THE CLIENT'S INFO WAS FOUND!! YAHOO!

I wrote all this to build up to this- I lost an import slip of contact info for a nice lady who came in last Saturday to arrange a private reading appointment. (This is one of the services that requires me to direct contact the service provider to arrange booking. More steps (Ack!) - thereby increasing the chances of me dropping the ball in the chain of booking)
If you happened to be spying through my shop window this morning, you would have seen me tearing the place apart while still in my pajamas-all to no avail. I have disappeared yet another important thing. So frustrating!
