🌟 RNS Spotlight: Roland 🌟

Roland has been a valued member of the Russell Nesbitt Services team for 13 years. Before joining RNS, he lived in San Diego, California, working in construction and serving as a minister and volunteer at a youth recreation center. With a lifelong passion for helping others, Roland eventually felt called to a quieter place and that journey led him to Wheeling, WV and to RNS.

Today, Roland works as a Direct Care Behavioral Specialist Assistant (BSA), a role he truly loves. He finds purpose in working alongside residents, helping them learn new skills, build routines, and gain confidence for success. As Roland puts it, “When the residents are happy, I’m happy.”

Roland credits much of his success to the strong leadership and teamwork at RNS, highlighting his Residential Manager, Teresa who is pictured with Roland, who he deeply respects for her organization, leadership, and dedication to staff. Roland mentioned that his sucesss would not be where it is today without Teresa. Teresa describes Roland as someone with an incredible work ethic who is always eager to learn and constantly looking for ways to be better at his craft.

Guided by his faith and the work ethic instilled by his father, Roland believes God placed him in this role to help others, and it shows in everything he does. We’re incredibly grateful to have Roland as part of our family and for the amazing impact he makes every day.
