It was an honor to speak and share my passion

Today our Forensics class had an incredible in-house field trip with Mr. Kolssak from Kolssak Funeral Home Ltd. He shared fascinating stories about his family's legacy in the funeral services business dating back to 1930. His passion for helping families during their toughest times truly inspired us.

We learned that funeral directors are not just detail managers—they're compassionate listeners who create meaningful ceremonies. It was eye-opening to understand the timeline of death investigations and how respect and care play a vital role in their work.

A huge thank you to Mr. Kolssak for this enlightening experience! It deepened our students' understanding of forensics and reminded us of the importance of empathy in every profession.
