The Wheeling Parkinson's Support Group will hold its first meeting on Friday, September 26 at 10:30am at the Ohio County Senior Center, 2200 Main Street, Wheeling. Meetings are tentatively scheduled for the 4th Friday of the month at 10:30am.

Military Culture and Su***de Prevention for Veterans workshop will be held on October 14 from 9am - 11am at Liza's Place. Two CEUs for WV Social Workers approved by WV Board of Social Work. Contact me at akoegler1995@gmail.com for registration information.

Thank you to our guest speaker Casey Peluso of the Western PA Parkinson's Foundation for coming to do the presentation on Parkinson's Disease on August 8! Thank you to everyone who attended!

Some of the participants expressed an interest in starting a support group so Altenheim Resource Services and Family Service Upper Ohio Valley (Ohio County Senior Center) will be offering a support group starting in September. We are just starting the planning phase now so keep an eye out for more information!

FALL WREATH CLASS
Altenheim Resource Services and Family Service Upper Ohio Valley (Ohio County Senior Center) are co-sponsoring a FALL WREATH CLASS on October 2 at 12noon. The fee for the class is $10.00 and class size is limited to 10. Our craft instructor is Barbara Cole. Call 304 233-2350 ext 106 to get on the list!

This class is a fun way to get out of the recliner, enjoy some socialization, and create a door decoration for fall!!

Casey Peluson of the Western Pennsylvania Parkinson's Foundation is our guest speaker. Casey will offer an overview and information on programs and resources. Please join us!
