🌟 Important Practice Updates from Northern Lights Medicine 🌟
To our valued patients and community,
We want to share some exciting and important updates about how Northern Lights Medicine is evolving to serve you better—and to reach even more people on their healing journeys.
Dr. Otten remains deeply committed to optimizing the health of every patient as well as providing personalized care for chronic illnesses like Lyme, autoimmune conditions, MCAS, and digestive issues. But to reduce overhead without raising costs, and to make space for larger-impact projects (like group programs and online education), we’re adjusting a few parts of our practice model:
🔬 Lab Services:
We will no longer offer in-office blood draws. Instead, we’ll refer patients to trusted partners including Quest Diagnostics, Rupa Health’s national network, and local draw sites—including some with in-home options.
💊 Supplements:
Our in-office dispensary is closing. But don’t worry—you can now order everything through the “Shop” tab at www.northernlightsmedicine.com:

✔️ Fullscript practitioner-grade options
🏥 Appointment Format:
Since nearly 80% of our patients prefer telemedicine appointments for most of their care, we’ll now offer in-office visits just one day a week—freeing up time while still offering in-person care as needed.
📍 Multi-State Care:
We’re expanding! Dr. Otten is adapting the care model to serve patients across multiple states via secure telehealth platforms. More access, same depth of care.
💆♀️ Massage + Adjunctive Therapies:
We’re thrilled that Danielle Otten, BCTMB, continues to offer therapeutic massage services at the clinic—supporting lymphatic flow, detox, and nervous system regulation. We're also introducing adjunctive therapies like PEMF, photobiomodulation, and energy medicine education to support deeper healing.
These changes will help us sustain what matters most: root-cause care, compassionate support, and affordable access to healing.
