PAI–Linden absolutely rocked the place when Rockin’ Tony stopped by!

From the very first song, participants were all in—singing along, clapping to the beat, dancing from their seats, and even holding up handmade signs just for Rockin’ Tony. The energy was contagious, filling the room with laughter, music, and connection!

Disability Services Day at the Capitol is coming up!

Join advocates, self-advocates, families, and community members on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Minnesota State Capitol to stand up for disability services across Minnesota. The rally begins at 10:00 a.m. in the Capitol rotunda.

This is a powerful chance to show support, lift up disability voices, and remind lawmakers why strong, well-funded services matter. PAI is proud to be part of this effort — we hope to see you there!

PAI–Parkway and PAI–Commerce welcomed Impossible Girl Collective for a performance of Cowgirls vs. Aliens — an original play created and performed by professional neurodivergent actors.

Participants were fully engaged, laughing, reacting and connecting with a story that celebrated creativity, identity and disability culture! Thank you, Impossible Girl Collective for bringing your creativity to life at PAI!

Our community is stronger when everyone gets a chance to shine 🌟 We’re proud to partner with Northern Starz Center for Performing Arts and Merrick, Inc. to bring Footloose to life—and we need mentors to help support performers along the way.

Rehearsals take place every Monday & Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Merrick.

Thank you, Minnesota Organization for Habilitation and Rehabilitation - MOHR for sharing this highlight from 2025! We can't wait for this year's Made in the Shade!

We are celebrating our members' 2025 accomplishments all month long! MOHR member PAI co-produced the Made in the Shade 5K Walk, Run, Roll alongside six partner organizations. This inclusive event celebrated people with disabilities, and participants joined the fun with a 90s-themed kickoff week—honoring the year PAI was founded: 1990.

Thanks to generous donors, $21,757 was raised through PAI’s Year-End Campaign!

That support is shaping what 2026 will look like for PAI participants. It helps ensure music therapy continues to build confidence and movement, art remains a meaningful outlet for self-expression, employment support stays strong, and community experiences continue to foster independence and belonging.

As we look back on 2025 at PAI–Linden, moments in the Maui Room stand out as powerful reminders of how creativity shapes confidence. Spending time in this space often means slowing down and watching ideas take form — a participant thoughtfully selecting colors or textures, then becoming fully immersed in bringing their vision to life.

The Maui Room offers a calm, welcoming environment where each person can create in their own way and at their own pace. The pride on a participant’s face captures what made the year so meaningful at PAI–Linden: creativity as a source of confidence, self-expression, and belonging.
