Hospice is often misunderstood as “giving up,” but in reality, it’s about shifting the focus to what truly matters—comfort, dignity, and quality of life. 🤍

Hospice care provides support for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses by managing pain and symptoms, allowing them to live as fully and comfortably as possible. Instead of constant hospital visits, care is centered around the patient—often in the comfort of their own home.

And one important thing to know: you don’t have to be actively dying to receive hospice care. Many people qualify earlier than they think and can benefit from the extra support, comfort, and resources hospice provides.

We are excited to introduce our new Chaplain, Brandon York!

Mr. York is a native of Altheimer, Arkansas. He has been happily married to his wife for 20 years, and together they share a daughter. He enjoys spending time with family, sports, reading, music, preaching, and teaching the Word of God.

He graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 2007, and at the age of 22, he accepted his calling into ministry. Currently, he is enrolled in seminary as he continues to develop his gifts and pursue the purpose God has for his ministry.

Kiarra, our Volunteer Coordinator, reached out to Small Florist & Gifts, and they eagerly agreed to provide these lovely flowers. We are so grateful for community partners who help us bring comfort, joy, and compassion to those we serve.
