Every year, especially in January, diet culture pressures us into setting weight-focused resolutions—only to leave us feeling frustrated and defeated by February. But what if you could set sustainable health goals instead?

Goals that nourish your body and mind, not punish them. Instead of setting another resolution tied to weight loss or restriction, consider this:
✔️ Finding clothes that fit your body right.
✔️ Eating in a way that gives you energy.
✔️ Learning to cook meals that bring you joy.

Resolutions don’t have to be about shrinking yourself. They can be about caring for yourself. Let’s rethink goal setting and leave diet culture out of them.

Click on the link below to read our recent article to explore new ways to set health-focused goals that actually support you!

The Body Mass Index (BMI) has long been used as a shortcut for determining health, but it is outdated and deeply flawed.

It reduces complex human bodies to a single number, disregarding factors such as genetics, environment, muscle mass, and overall well-being. Worse, it pathologizes natural body diversity, often leading to stigma and misdiagnosis.

By rejecting BMI as a measure of health, we can advocate for more accurate, respectful, and individualized approaches to healthcare that cater to each person’s unique needs.
