Thank you to everyone who made our Holiday Drive such a success! Together, we collected more than 350 donations, including toys, clothing, and creative kits for all ages. These items are being distributed to local families by our partners at Lifting Up Westchester, the Thomas H. Slater Center, the White Plains Police Department, and 914Cares. We are proud to care for our community beyond the walls of our Hospital by spreading warmth and love this holiday season.

A special thank you to the 6th grade students from Lakeland Middle School, who visited White Plains Hospital’s Center for Cancer Care and delivered more than 200 handmade mastectomy pillows. These heart-shaped pillows bring comfort to patients recovering from surgery or undergoing radiation treatment.

Led by their teacher, Ms. Kristina Nastasi, daughter of retired WPH ICU nurse and breast cancer survivor Angie Nastasi, the students heard firsthand how meaningful these gifts are and the impact they have on the patient experience. Their kindness will be felt by every person who receives one!
