A Workshop Exploring the Undercurrents of Self

In this workshop, we’ll explore how creative practices can become doorways into your own inner wisdom. Writing, imagery, poetry, and movement aren’t just forms of expression—they are ways of listening, of letting the deeper self speak.

How do we access the inner landscape of our heart?

How do we access what many call our intuition? What may be blocking our way as we try to live from our “wise self’? We can become curious, not with a desire to change or fix, but to begin to know and learn from these complex channels of Self.

Pause the constant chatter that blocks access to this other knowing

Let go of the compulsion to stay busy

Find freedom from the need to control every detail

Explore creative ways to connect with self and others

Using writing, imagery, and embodied practices, we will slow down and take time to listen to and bring forth our innate wisdom. Participants will leave with tools to access their inner guide in fresh, creative ways—through word, image, and embodied expression.

The Somatics of Language: How Words Land in the Body

In this class, we will explore the deep connection between
language and the body. Through poetry, spoken word, and personal mantras,
we’ll attune to how words resonate within us—how they move through our
nervous systems and leave traces of meaning, memory, and emotion. Language,
when fully felt, has the power to heal us from within.

What does it mean to *feel* language? Beyond speaking and listening, we
also experience words physically—through sensation, breath, and emotion.
This somatic approach to language invites us to engage with both our
delightful and difficult stories in a new, embodied way. By doing so, we
can develop tools supporting our natural resilience and restoration capacity.

We’ll begin by cultivating safety through gentle, embodied meditation and
then follow what arises using simple somatic practices and breathwork.
There will be space to share poetry, phrases, and reflections, and witness each
others’ stories, and offer support within a compassionate and respectful
community.

This workshop is open to everyone—no prior experience needed.
