It is always my hope that we learn to live within a healthy flow of energy, aligned with the truth of who we are, in service to what matters most. The more present we are the more freedom we have to express ourselves. Painting is simply the medium; the class itself was/is about access to more of our inner knowing and opening to our wholeness. What an honor to teach & guide in this way. We completed the Muse class yesterday so my teaching-in-training part is complete. Now to finish up my portfolio book. These were my demo paintings

Pausing is Soul Care. Take time, even 15 minutes, every day to do something that is calming and nourishing to you. Something that uplifts, feels good and makes you smile. This will allow you to be filled from the inside so that you can contribute from a place of fullness and joy.

After a hot dry summer, today offers the first fall-feeling day as the rain comes, the temperatures drop and even at 9 am the solar deck lights still offer a warm glow. To welcome in the upcoming change, I sat in the hot tub and enjoyed the cool rain on my face as a leaf floated by, reminding me of what is to come. I can feel the beginning twinges of making homemade bread that always hits hard as the days cool off. But for now, I am doing the final edits on my book, playing with cover mock-ups, pondering interior layouts, and listening to the rain. The bread will have to wait. So much to be grateful for …
