Jason Ian Kona, a Tulalip Tribal Member, was born on March 23, 1973, In Hood River, Oregon. He passed away on April 27, 2025, at 52 years of age. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ruth and Ervin Rodgers, Bertha and Isaac “Ike” Kona; mother, Helen Kona; wife Elizabeth Kona; friend Terry Smith; and dog, Tank.

Jason graduated high school from Columbia High in White Salmon, where he lived his whole life. He excelled in many sports such as weightlifting, football, and baseball.

Jason always knew how to have a good time. Endless laughs, smiles, and unforgettable memories were created throughout his life.

He enjoyed spending his days on the river, around a fire, and on his down time- playing his guitar; but most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, Seth Bierbower-Kona; daughters, Madison and Rylee Kona; grandchildren, Brynlee, Beau and Maizey, father, Lewis Kona; brothers Steve Kamekona and Tracy Kona; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Benjamin Karl Langfield, 76, passed away surrounded by family in
Portland, Oregon on January 15, 2025. He was born to Zula Mae Landrum and Alvin Rex Langfield in Portland, Oregon on September 1,1948. Ben was raised by his grandparents Lottie and KC Langfield in Trout Lake Washington. He would spend time with his father at the Kelly Creek Ranger Station on the Clearwater National Forest when he could. He graduated from Trout Lake High School in 1967. After graduation he attended Yakima Valley Community College from 1967-1969 earning an Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Service. He served in the Army National Guard and Army Reserve from 1970-1976.
Ben married Lea Brasmer on June 7, 1971 in Orofino, Idaho. The
Langfields made their home in Glenwood, Washington. He was married to Lea until her passing in January 2021. Ben and Lea had 3 children. Ben is survived by his 3 children and their spouses Karie and Johnny La Bryer, Kasey and Amber Langfield, Brian and Karlee Langfield, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Ben worked in the timber industry for 48 years. He loved being
outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with friends and family. Ben will be greatly missed by all who knew him. No service is planned at this time.

James Fredrick Colvin passed away December 5th, 2024, in Dallesport,
Washington.. James was born June 19th, 1941, in Miles City, Montana to Harry Jay Colvin and Virgie M. Nielsen. James was 83 years of age at the time of passing.

He was married to Judy Ann Colvin and they had 4
children: James, Michael, Mary and Anna. He had 5
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. James was
preceded in death by his eldest James.

A graveside committal is planned for 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 13th, 2024 at White Salmon Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gardner
Funeral Home (156 NE Church Avenue, White Salmon,
Washington).

The surviving family members would like to recognize the outstanding care that James received from thee hospice team and is requesting that, in lieu of flowers, please
donate to Hospice.
