Commissioner Sid Miller and TDA are offering Texas school nutrition professionals the opportunity to apply for one of five Farm Fresh Culinary workshops at the Culinary Institute of America campus in San Antonio. Participants will sharpen their skills by learning to prepare fresh foods for meals that appeal to tough customers – school children. The weeklong workshops are part of Commissioner Sid Miller’s Farm Fresh Initiative and made possible by USDA’s Training Grants for Meal Pattern Modernization and Retention and Mentorship Opportunities.
