The Levitt AMP Whitesburg Music Series presented by Appalachian Regional Healthcare is free to the public. Join us at the Mountain Heritage Stage every Thursday at 6 from July 22 through September 23. The Music Series presents a wide range of music to Whitesburg and Letcher county in a family friendly atmosphere. From bluegrass and old time to jazz and soul to rock and world music, you'll enjoy some of the finest performers in the country right here! Levitt AMP Whitesburg is a project of the Cowan Community Center who first received the award for the 2018 summer season. Levitt Foundation has extended our latest award through the 2022 summer season. The music series would not be possible without our partners the City of Whitesburg, Mountain Heritage Festival Committee, Appalshop, Whitesburg Farmer's Market and Letcher County Tourism. The Levitt AMP Whitesburg Music Series is supported in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, a private foundation that empowers towns and cities across America to transform underused public spaces into thriving destinations through the power of free, live music. In 2021, over 550 free Levitt concerts will take place in 26 towns and cities, all featuring a rich array of music genres and high caliber talent. The Levitt AMP Whitesburg Music Series presented by Appalachian Regional Healthcare receives financial support from ARH, Mountain Comprehensive Health Corporation, Double Kwik Stores, Appalachian Impact Fund, MACED and the community.

There are many heavy hearts in our region this morning. Brandon Robinson was a friend to eastern Kentuckians and we mourn his loss. He set a shining example for us all and has been an inspiration to many more than he could have known.

There's lots to share and say about this season. But this is one of the coolest things we've ever seen at one of our shows.
This is Jake on stage with Corduroy Brown. He sat directly in front the whole show with his family and sang along with every song. Corduroy invited him up to sing with him on the last song, "Doin My Best", which is the song that sums up our season.
It was spontaneous, it was beautiful and its a snapshot of the magic that can happen when love is being shared between the audience and the performer.
Thanks Jake and Thanks Corduroy and band for a perfect end to the 2025 Levitt AMP Whitesburg season!

Hard to believe, but this is the final show of the '25 music series season. It's been a year of fantastic concerts, so let's do it one more time. Lots of activities for everyone, from waterslides to carshow to lego building. Good food and fine music is icing on the cake.
