My name is James Blaylock, and I am looking into my own ancestry. Unfortunately, my father and grandfather passed away when I was very young, so finding things has been difficult.

I believe my grandfather's sister was Hartense (Blaylock) Whitmire who married J.W. "Pete" Whitmire.

I'm not really sure who operates this page or if anyone still does. But I would love any information, stories, or pictures of Mrs. Hartense Whitmire. And if anyone knows anything about her family I would love to hear it.

I wanted to let everyone know that our sweet Aunt Louise has gone to Heaven. Her viewing will be this Thursday, Nov 15th from 6-9pm in Citronelle, Alabama and the graveside service will be in Waynesboro, Mississippi on Friday at Serenity Gardens at 10:30am. If you plan to attend either of these services, please post here. There may be others who would like to ride down or if you could provide a ride that would be great too.
