We had a great time ringing in the New Year at Pines Village! Our Culinary team put out a beautiful spread, Bethany Taylor provided wonderful entertainment, and our Enrichment team kept the celebration going, conga line and all!

Pines Village kicked off the season with a joyful Holiday Market featuring local vendors, resident and team member artisans, handmade creations, delicious treats, and caroling from Ocean County Arc. It was a wonderful day of community, creativity, and holiday spirit. Thank you to everyone who made the day so special!

A Stellar Story about Pines Village team member, Tara Emley, RN! This fall, Tara brought the warmth of her family farm right into our Skilled Nursing’s Renew Hall. She and her family generously donated 60 pumpkins, each one a cheerful touch of autumn, which she lovingly decorated and placed along the windowsills of the Renew hallway.

Since joining Pines Village in February and becoming part of the Renew Hall team in July, Tara has quickly become known for her genuine care and creativity. Her thoughtful gesture brightened the space and lifted the spirits of residents and team members, turning everyday moments into a seasonal celebration. Tara shares that she loves spending time with residents, caring for them, and watching them grow strong enough to return home. Her kindness, compassion, and personal touch remind us that small acts of hospitality can make a big difference. Tara, you exemplify the Spirit of Hospitality. Thank you for renewing both hearts and hallways this season!

Yesterday, we proudly honored our Resident Veterans with a heartfelt service, followed by a special lunch in their honor. We were grateful to welcome guest speaker John Buodenas, 2nd LT, US Army, Military Intelligence, who shared inspiring words of reflection. Thank you to all who have served our country.
