Happy international women’s day!

Although women should be celebrated everyday, this one was extra special by having the opportunity to not only have the opportunity to guide an amazing group of women in practice, but got to check two other things off my bucket list!

Teach yoga in a yurt and get to pull a sled full of yoga props to said yurt!

It was an amazing and beautiful day!

We’ve been doing all sorts of projects around the new studio! Including some tiling repairs.

It’s nice when skills can cross over to different aspects in your life.

I was obviously thinking about baking when I said spatula instead of putty knife…hey whatever works!

Ever feel like the world is moving so fast around you and your nervous system is reacting by speeding up as well. Making you breath quicken, thoughts start to race until you feel exhausted.

Natures answer to all of this is winter. It’s a time to slow down, to reserve your energy for what’s to come. You have to decide to take this opportunity to rest, even if it’s just for a moment, an hour, or day. Take the time to breathe and be still.

Come join us Saturday 4pm to start the process of being ok with stillness.

We are offering a grounded yin practice to celebrate the Solstice. Offering you the time and space to slow down and move inward for evening. Essential oils and hands on are available for whoever wants to partake.
