New research led by SCU Health Postdoctoral Fellow Özüm Erkin explores how laughter yoga may help reduce stress and anxiety in school-aged children. This structured mind-body practice combines intentional laughter, breathwork, gentle movement, rhythm, and group interaction. A review of six studies involving 305 children found beneficial outcomes across school and clinical settings.
