Job Title: Manager of Business Support Services

POSITION SUMMARY
Develop and manage a high performing agile team responsible for procurement, warehousing, distribution, and Fleet Management operations and administration. Relentless commitment to partner and collaborate.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversees the day-to-day operations and administration ensuring regulatory and policy compliant results for Rose Hills Auto Shop, Warehouse & Receiving and Purchasing departments. Create, Monitors, & Delegates work, establishes priorities and deadlines, and communicates expectations. Review, analyze, report, quality check, or approve work at various stages
• Plan and implement annual initiatives that may affect resources or goals across departments. Forecast product needs, pricing changes, and margin changes. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, resource constraints, and negotiate solutions.
• Oversee on-road & off-road Fleet Administration including budgeting, forecasting, acquisition, preventative and ad-hoc maintenance, registration, disposal, and compliance reporting and analysis
• Oversee the procurement and warehousing of direct and indirect goods and services. Analyze inventories to maximize the use of warehouse space. Determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, and/or optimize customer service.
• Manage vendor against contractual service level expectations; resolve issues. Assess vendors analyzing pricing changes, contract compliance, and service. Collaborate with Corporate Pricing or Supply Chain departments as needed to facilitate issue resolution.
• Source local vendors for non-industry related products. Along with the Buyer, negotiate pricing and contractual terms. Facilitate contract approvals, insurance requirements compliance, and implementation.
• Optimize warehousing of products ensuring an organized, clean, and safe work environment. Oversee the accurate receipt of undamaged goods. Distribute products across the company to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identifies and implements innovative solutions improving efficiencies. Supports change initiatives, maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work responsibilities or environment; quickly adjusts to work within new work structures, processes, requirements or cultures.
Leadership and People Development
• Develop a strong, trusting, and reliable team. Provide oversight, guidance, and coaching including regular informal and formal feedback, identifying developmental needs, and tracking progress. Understand team members career aspirations and provide assignments to develop skills and/or close gaps. Apply a proactive and collaborative management style in order to increase employee engagement and minimize turnover.
• Responsible for screening candidates (internal and external) and hiring a skilled and effective staff. Recommends pay increases, special pays, and career advancements.
• Build effective business relationships across the organization
Minimum Requirements
Education
• Associate’s degree with an emphasis on Supply Chain procurement and logistics will substitute for 2 years of work experience
• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Experience
• At least eight (8) years’ experience including a combination of supply chain, logistics, procurement, warehouse, and/or fleet management with increasing responsibilities
• Experience successfully managing staff, communicating expectations, and assessing performance
• Demonstrate knowledge and appropriate application of regulations, policies, and procedures

Work Environment
• Work is mainly in office and requires daily interaction with associates in outside environment in a variety of weather conditions. In office, work seated and/or standing and walking in a carpeted, air-conditioned office where noise level can be quiet to moderate.
