Due to the U.S. government shutdown, some CalFresh and SNAP benefits are delayed this month.
To help, CAPC is offering $50 grocery gift cards to CAPCX individuals, families, and staff who are:
✅ Enrolled in CalFresh or SNAP
✅ Experiencing a loss or delay of benefits

Limited supply — first come, first served.

🌎💪 The Great ShakeOut 2025! 💪🌎

Today, CAPC joined millions across California for the Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill — practicing how to Drop, Cover, and Hold On in case of an earthquake.

Our individuals and staff did an incredible job — evacuating in just 1 minute and 42 seconds! 👏
We’re also proud of our participants who took part in drills at the City of La Mirada Community Center and volunteered with PIH Health ,helping ensure their communities were prepared too.

Preparedness is empowerment — and today, CAPC proved that safety and teamwork go hand in hand! 💙

📢 The federal government’s budget lapsed on October 1, 2025. We want to reassure our CAPC community that our programs and services remain in place without interruption. SSI payments will continue, Medi-Cal is funded through June 2026, and CalFresh October benefits are not impacted.
