Today, we were reminiscing about our unique but similar journeys to become physicians. It took years of education (college, medical school, internship, and residency as well as fellowships for some). A total of over 10 years of higher education, before we could begin seeing patients independently! In addition, we had to pass the most difficult board examination and attend hours of yearly continuing medical educational programs to maintain board certification in Family Medicine!!

TIME…..There never seems to be enough time! Stratos DPC loves saving YOU time.
Our members don’t spend hours sitting in a waiting room to have simple questions answered. We text, email, and call our members to answer any concerns. If needed we have available appointments through telemedicine or in the office often on the day or next day our members communicate with us! We are proud to announce that Dr. Nicole Storseth MD has joined our Stratos DPC team!

Dr. Storseth has been caring for families in Wichita Falls for more than 20 years. She brings her knowledge, experience, and compassion to our team! She is looking forward to building meaningful relationships with patients under the Direct Primary Care Model.

Direct Primary Care is a membership model that bypasses the bureaucracy of insurance based practices and allows for meaningful relationships with our patients. Direct Primary Care practices have smaller number of patients. This gives physicians the flexibility to spend quality time with you. The Great Thaw has begun!
We had a great aerobic workout shoveling snow (mostly ice at the base😅). Even Piper got to join in the work!

We are looking forward to more normal winter temperatures and going back into a regular schedule!

With that said, please be very careful as you start to get around town. There is ice that likely will reform during the night. Be especially aware as you get in and out of your car. There is a lot of standing water and ice that falling is a real threat. This is the time when most accidental falls can occur.

Lastly, we have very limited parking at this time. If you have an appointment please park In the handicap space next to the door. Thank you.
