Knowing where to go for care can make all the difference — especially when every minute matters. This month’s Healthy You highlights when it’s best to visit CarePlus Walk-In Clinic and when the Emergency Department is the right choice.
Dr. Mitchell Wolfe, family practice physician with United Regional Physician Group, explains common conditions best treated at CarePlus and how same-day access can get you the right care faster. Dr. Jordan Memmott, Emergency Medicine, walks through the signs and symptoms that warrant immediate ER care and why choosing the right level of care helps everyone get timely, appropriate treatment. In some cases, patients may qualify for a virtual visit from the comfort of their own home, eliminating the need to come to the clinic.
Watch the full Healthy You story to learn how to make the best decision for you and your family.

Our Story

Driven by a passion for healing and an unwavering commitment to excellence, United Regional has touched the lives of the people of Wichita Falls and surrounding areas for nearly 100 years. For us, providing world-class medical care is more than a day's work. It's our life's work. United Regional provides the area's only comprehensive cardiac care facility, and its only Level II trauma center. Virtually every day, the United Regional Care Flight Helicopter can be seen bringing help and hope to those in need. But we don't stop there. At United Regional, we continually seek to further improve community health by investing in life-saving medical equipment, world-class physicians and state-of-the art facilities. To make sure our goals are consistently met, we've set forth five pillars of service: People, Service, Quality, Finance and Growth. By applying our energies to these pillars and making them integral to our culture, we're able to deliver excellence in health care for the communities we serve. Excellence which the people of Wichita Falls and the region deserve and can be proud. Because to us, you're not just a patient – you're our neighbor.
