We also contribute significantly to the community by fostering partnerships, supporting local initiatives, and promoting healthy and thriving residents. United Regional participated in the Midwestern State University STEM Conference where students explored a wide range of careers in science, technology, engineering, and medicine.

Dr. Sarah Langston, sports medicine physician, Amanda Snook, Director of the Medical Lab Scientist Program, and John Ford, Assistant Director of the Medical Laboratory Scientist Program, served as speakers, offering students a closer look at the skills, passion, and purpose behind their work. Our team also hosted interactive booths and shared firsthand insights into the many paths available in healthcare.

We are proud to support programs that inspire future leaders in STEM and help strengthen the health and wellness of our region. Thank you to our team members who participated!

United Regional partnered with TXDOT, the Safe Riders Program, the Injury Prevention Unit, and the Texas Department of State Health Services to host a Safe Kids car seat event, helping families learn how to choose and properly install the right seat for their child.

Our team worked alongside certified child passenger safety technicians to answer questions, demonstrate proper installation, and support families in keeping their children as safe as possible. We were grateful for the opportunity to assist 18 children, including providing 12 families with brand‑new car seats!

United Regional’s Flag Raising Ceremony will take place Friday, April 3 at 10 a.m. at the Bridwell Tower flagpole on the United Regional campus. This special gathering marks the beginning of National Donate Life Month.

This year’s Donate Life theme uses trees to symbolize life, connection, and the powerful way donation unites donors, recipients, and their families. Like a tree that grows for generations, the gift of donation creates a lasting legacy of hope and life. We invite our community to join us as we raise the Donate Life flag, honor those who have given the gift of life, and celebrate the impact of donation in our region.

Our Story

Driven by a passion for healing and an unwavering commitment to excellence, United Regional has touched the lives of the people of Wichita Falls and surrounding areas for nearly 100 years. For us, providing world-class medical care is more than a day's work. It's our life's work. United Regional provides the area's only comprehensive cardiac care facility, and its only Level II trauma center. Virtually every day, the United Regional Care Flight Helicopter can be seen bringing help and hope to those in need. But we don't stop there. At United Regional, we continually seek to further improve community health by investing in life-saving medical equipment, world-class physicians and state-of-the art facilities. To make sure our goals are consistently met, we've set forth five pillars of service: People, Service, Quality, Finance and Growth. By applying our energies to these pillars and making them integral to our culture, we're able to deliver excellence in health care for the communities we serve. Excellence which the people of Wichita Falls and the region deserve and can be proud. Because to us, you're not just a patient – you're our neighbor.
