Congratulations to Dr Ellaheh Ebrahim, another fantastic WCMS physician.

Congratulations and welcome back to Dr Ankit Patel, another WCMS physician. He is also the son of two of my favorite physicians and WCMS Board members, Arti and Ashvin Patel.

Dr. Ankit Patel is a board-certified family medicine physician with fellowship training in sports medicine.

Dr. Patel began his academic journey at Austin College in Sherman, TX, where he earned a degree in psychology. He went on to complete his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada before returning home to Wichita Falls for a family medicine residency. He later completed a sports medicine fellowship at Texas Tech University in El Paso, TX.

Dr. Patel’s clinical approach emphasizes clear, relatable communication and a patient-first mindset. He strives to make every patient feel comfortable and cared for, treating each individual like family and building trust during times of need. Dr. Patel will begin practicing on December 15.
