Urgent Care Center and Hospital ER failed to diagnose this spider bite. Many times the venom can cause ulcer, cellulitis infection, necrosis.. requiring IV antibiotics, local debridement, skin grafting, even amputation. You may never even feel the bite when it happens. Recovery can be lengthy from weeks to months. If you suspect a bite it’s best to seek medical attention right away. Take some Benedryl, ice 10 minutes on 10 minutes off, stay off it, and elevate it above your heart. We open this up and probed curettaged the dead space then irrigated with antibiotic solution and packed it. The circle with a pen was used to keep tract of the extent of cellulitis.

Haglunds deformity with retrocalcaneal Bursitis ... ( not Achilles tendinitis). Plagues many people and surgery is a last resort and usually unnecessary. Treatment includes change in shoes, Ice, anti-inflammatory medication, heel lift, and steroid injection for bursitis. They key is to not wear shoes with heal counters that rub on the “bump.” Have a great week. Call is at. 940-692-7078.

We are accepting walk-ins from 1-2pm today and tomorrow from 9-11am. If you have insurance must be a PPO plan or must have a referral from P*P if you have a HMO plan. The only insurance plans we don't accept are Humana, Tricare West, Medicaid, and 1st Health. We do accept self pay pts as well.
