It's Thankful Thursday and today we are so thankful for Paulette! Paulette has worked for High Plains for 25 years and for most of her time here, she has been an overnight staff at our co-ed facility. She retired for a brief time but came back to share her love for our special people. In addition to working overnights, Paulette also worked in our day hab for a while and has always been willing to work extra to help out at every facility. Paulette has a special love for our clients and is always so patient with them and takes extra time to teach them. Paulette is also a very thoughtful person with such a sweet demeanor. It has been a pleasure to work alongside her all these years. Our residents are so blessed by her and High Plains is so lucky she has chosen us for her work home.
Paulette, thank you for all you do at High Plains and for caring for all of us so well.
We appreciate you! ❤️

It's Thankful Thursday and today we are so thankful for Cherl. Cherl joined this team in 2005 and has been an integral part of of our care since day one. Cherl spends her days at URHCS helping families bring their beautiful babies into this world and every weekend and on her days off, she is taking care of our special friends. She has worked at every house, with every client and is always up for anything! Cherl has a mama heart but rules with tough love and high expectations. She is never one to take "I can't " for an answer. She is one of the clients biggest cheerleaders and promoters of independence. Cherl is a joy to be around, she's fun to talk to and will always lay it on the line, no matter who you are or what position you hold. She is refreshingly honest and loved so much here at High Plains. Cherl, thank you for blessing our High Plains family for the past 20 years. Life wouldn't be the same without you 🥰♥️

Its Thankful Thursday and thankful we are for this shiny penny. Ms. Robbie came to High Plains in December 1992. She has been a faithful member of this team for 33 years. She works at Cumberland with the ladies and is a founding staff member for that facility. She has seen it all, done it all and provided the highest level of care and love anyone could ever ask for. She is a mentor to her peers and loves the ladies with a firm hand that encourages personal respect and a high level of expectations of effort. Staff longevity, such as this, is an incredible gift to any provider and we could not be more blessed that she has chosen High Plains for her work family. Here's to many more years of serving together 🥂🍾❤️
