Quick backstory.. I had a friend who was considering leaving the commission salon that she had worked at well over a decade, but was nervous about the unknown world of self-employment. We sat down & I shared all the things, numbers (sales & costs), retail lines, taxes, tasks you take on, ect. I have now been on my own 10 years, including 4.5 years of being the owner of Eleven Studio Salons, at that time though, I had been on my own for 5.5 years and had already grown and made changes from when I first started. I could tell I was starting to overwhelm her a bit so I stopped and said, “Just go buy foils, lightener, a cape and do hair! It’s not that f*cking hard!” 😂 At a lunch a few months later, after she had quit the old salon & went on her own (where she made more in her first WEEK than she made in a month at commission salon 🙌🏼) she brought up my, “It’s not that f*cking hard!” comment & how much it made an impact! And that’s the reason I’m sharing..

If you have thought about going out on your own and feel totally overwhelmed, take a step back. Outside of a CPA or knowledge tax expert and supplies, you don’t need much to get started! If you have an established clientele, you don’t have to do the social media noise, be a professional photographer or spend hours doing behind the scenes work. I believe we should make life as easy as possible for ourselves and others! For this reason, we give all tenants 1 week rent-free to use any time they’d like! Use them to help during maternity leave, vacation, holidays or just for a little extra cash in your pocket! Rent-free weeks never expire, so save them up, use several at once, or spread them out however you please! Each year, you earn another week to bank!

Eleven Studio Salons was designed by me, a hairstylist, for the hairstylist. I took what I loved the most from my education trips in Cali & Seattle and put them all together.
•Oversized shampoo bowl for easy toning & wet balayage, that is super comfortable for the client too!
•Electric styling chairs, because we work hard enough as it is!
•Stations with full length mirror and tons of built in storage-room for every tool you want and need.
•Oh ya, built in storage for your color, that’s in there too! Along with a separate wash sink-no more washing color bowls at the shampoo sink!
•High ceilings, anti-fatigue mats, and more.
•Most important, a community of badass stylists to work around! Come your today!

Eleven Christmas Party 2024!

Our esti & almost all the stylists (missing 3!) So grateful for a night with these lovely ladies & some of our best hype people!! Good food & drinks, with good people & Christmas light tour ended up being a fun way to celebrate!! Thanks for taking a night to celebrate & being a part of Eleven ladies! 😘🎄
