👑 Staff Shout-Out Alert! 👑 Sage Powell is our Circle Time QUEEN and we are so grateful for the energy, support, and joy she brings to the therapy space every single day!

Yesterday’s classroom group time was a hit—working on days of the week, emotions, and so much more! All sorts of fun, engaging music that kept the kids motivated to keep learning🎶🗓️😊

✨ Staff Spotlight: Kelsey Lueck ✨

If you know Kelsey, you already know — their energy is contagious and their passion for people runs deep 💙

A Wichita native born and raised, Kelsey earned their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Recreation from Pittsburg State University, then went on to receive their Master of Education from Texas Tech University in 2018 🎓

Kelsey’s career has taken them all across the country, serving in university settings within Student Housing, LGBTQIA+ offices, Health Education, and more. Most recently, they supported folx in crisis through The Trevor Project and the 988 Lifeline — work that speaks volumes about their heart for advocacy and care.

Kelsey feels deeply connected to neurodivergent individuals and believes that truly understanding behavior is essential to overall well-being and growth. That passion is what drew them to ABA — and we’re so lucky it led them to Little Stars ⭐

After working fully remote, Kelsey was especially excited to return to in-person work with kiddos, building real connections and creating meaningful impact every day.

Looking ahead, Kelsey plans to:
✨ Obtain their BCBA
✨ Help create a welcoming, inclusive environment
✨ Support classmates and BTs to succeed inside and outside of the classroom

✨ Welcome to the Team, Catherine✨

We are so excited to welcome Catherine to Little Stars as our newest Autism Specialist! From day one, Catherine has jumped right in with her bubbly personality, willingness to help wherever needed, and an impressive depth of knowledge in ABA.

Catherine brings 11 years of experience in education, including nearly 6 years as a Special Education teacher, working across a variety of settings. She holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education as well as a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from WSU. Through her work alongside Autism Specialists, Behavior Specialists, and BCBAs, Catherine discovered her passion for creating meaningful, lasting change for her students — and we’re so lucky that journey led her to Little Stars.

Outside of ABA, Catherine enjoys volunteering at the zoo and playing musical instruments, which we already know our kids are going to love 🎶🦒

Catherine shared that she’s excited to continue learning more about ABA and to watch children grow and reach their full potential — and we couldn’t think of a better place for her to do just that.
