🌟 Staff Spotlight: Marisa Hernandez 🌟

If you’ve spent even five minutes around Marisa Hernandez, you know this to be true: she shows up — fully, consistently, and with her whole heart.

As a Senior Lead at Little Stars, Marisa is known for the kind of client connection you can’t teach and the kind of staff support that makes people feel seen, backed, and confident in their work. With prior experience as an RBT in North Carolina and a background as a Psychology major, she brings both knowledge and genuine care into everything she does.

What truly drives Marisa is her desire to understand each client on a deeper level — to recognize needs others might miss and help families feel supported in ways that truly matter.

Outside the clinic, Marisa is always on the move — whether she’s at the gym, playing sports, hiking, traveling, trying new foods, or soaking up time with her family. If there’s an adventure (or good food involved), she’s in. 😄

Looking ahead to 2026, Marisa’s focus is big-picture and deeply personal: supporting daily life skills across the clinic to help make family routines smoother, more meaningful, and more empowering.

Gisell brings valuable experience supporting children, families, and students across advocacy, volunteer coordination, and mental health settings. These roles helped shape her passion for working with youth and supporting families in meaningful, compassionate ways.

She was drawn to the field of ABA through her desire to learn new therapy skills and continue growing as a professional. Outside of work, Gisell enjoys reading, writing, and working out, which helps her stay balanced and energized.

Looking ahead to 2026, Gisell’s goal is to continue building her skills in ABA as she works toward becoming an even stronger Caregiver Support Provider.

✨ Welcome to the Team, Tamera! ✨

We’re so excited to welcome Tamera Geyer, EdS, MS, AS, to the Little Stars family! Tamera is joining us as an Autism Specialist, supporting our young learners in one of our early childhood classrooms.

Tamera brings over 14 years of experience in education and coaching, along with a strong background in special education and work in a special day school setting. She was drawn to the field of ABA to continue learning, support families in new ways, and help bridge the gaps families often face when navigating services.

Beyond her professional experience, Tamera is a proud mom of three daughters and a devoted grandma who loves spending time with her grandson at the zoo, pool, and local parks. In her free time, you’ll find her working out, reading, or enjoying live music. She recently relocated to Wichita with her partner—along with a few bonus children and a dog!

Tamera is passionate about reducing family stress and fostering meaningful, collaborative outcomes, and we’re thrilled to have her expertise and heart on our team.
