It’s a great turnout so far for Wellness Wednesday as students are creating Gratitude Pumpkins and cards to show their appreciation for someone special. HOPE Services and SOS are on the scene on the first floor of the RSC until 12:30pm. Be sure to stop by for wellness resources and to let your creative genius flow.

Sharing information regarding SNAP benefits.

Today, the USDA said it plans to send out partial SNAP benefits in November using the SNAP contingency fund. Once DCF receives guidance from the USDA on how to process these partial benefits, DCF will determine next steps to issue the partial payments and communicate when Kansas SNAP recipients can expect to receive them.

Both WIC and SNAP help Sedwick County families eat healthy; they just work in different ways.

💙 WIC appointments and benefits continue, even if SNAP benefits are partially funded or paused during the government shutdown. Both Sedgwick County WIC offices are OPEN and operating as usual.

👉 It is important to keep your WIC appointments to make sure your benefits stay active, and your family continues receiving healthy foods.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please call the WIC Call Center at 316-660-7444 as soon as possible so we can offer your time slot to another family.
