Who loves company? WE DO!! Especially when it's the wonderful ladies from Trinity Academy, our high school neighbors just down the road! For their Afternoon of Service, students joined us for a rowdy game of beachball, polished nails, called bingo and hosted bocce ball. Even their teachers jumped in rolling silverware in the restaurant! We can't wait for our new friends to come back!!

Once again, compassionate and creative Rushwood residents are reaching out in Acts of Service! Judy, Karen, De, Sue and Kay have taken donated plastic grocery sacks which are sorted then cut into strips and tied together to make "plarn" or "plastic yarn" balls. The plarn is crocheted or knitted into mats that are collected by Orphan Grain Train. Church On The Street then gifts them to homeless individuals right here in Wichita. It's so inspiring to see these ladies making a difference in our city!!
