On the 3rd Day of Christmas, Chef made for us Chicken Coq Au Vin! Marinated roasted chicken leg quarter with crispy roasted potatoes and root vegetables smothered in a white wine chicken gravy with garnished with fresh parsley! As we celebrate this 31st Day of Holiday Cheer, we wish you happiness and good will to all humankind!

Happy Day #30 of Holiday Cheer! Today we highlight Kwanzaa, a tradition that celebrates Afro American and Pan American culture and values, especially community and unity. Today, residents learned about Kwanzaa and painted a kinara, the traditional Kwanzaa candle holder.
Day 2 in the "12 Days of Christmas" song brought us Strawberry White Russian coctails with chocolate drizzle and chocolate mousse! For our "two turtle doves" appetizer, Chef served flash fried naan bread with a chocolate hummus and brûlée strawberry and chocolate drizzle. Delicious!

On this 29th day of Holiday Cheer, Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Today was filled with gift giving, carol singing, and celebrating the 1st Day of Christmas! Each day we'll have a specialty menu item based on that day's verse in the "12 Days of Christmas" song. Prepare yourself for the deliciousness of pear rum sorbet with apple, brandy & cinnamon mousse topped with buttered biscuit streusel!

'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, our Executive Director, Nathan Harrison, was bringing back childhood memories by reading the Christmas classic! The 28th day of Christmas Cheer brought sweet memories and celebrations! Residents also gathered to light the last candle of Advent, the Christ Candle. Thanks to Laura for reading the Advent prayer!

Sugar and frosting and sprinkles, OH MY!! Day #26 of Holiday Cheer is brought to you by COOKIES!! Residents exchanged homemade treats, decorated sweet morsels, and Resident Services Director, Rochelle Collette, broke out the pizelle press! The community filled with the delicious smell of Swedish gingerbread dough cooking up into thin, crispy cookies that we gobbled up warm!

Ho Ho Ho! On this 25th Day of Holiday Cheer, we celebrated Brunch with the Big Man Himself! Santa brought joy in all our neighborhoods, played Christmas tunes on a 1938 hand crank record player and shocked us all by speaking English, French, Spanish and German!
A shoutout to Jill Pawloski from an Ohio sister community, who gifted us a great meditation for Winter Solstice! As 2025 nears a close, take time to breathe and reflect, friends!

Sprinkles of Christmas joy coming to all from Day #23 of Holiday Cheer!! Today we revealed the highly anticipated Arrow Christmas video, then we put on our party hats and headed to the cranberry martinis! The highlight of our festivities, however, was the incredible Andover High School Madrigal Choir! More than a few eyes got misty with the sweet sounds of these skilled young people with big hearts! They even helped present medals to our Christmas Sweater Contest winners! Taking 1st Place for their extraordinary use of decorative potholders are Marlow and Linda S! 😝😍
Also, congratulations to our door decorating contest winners, Taffy W, John & Mary Lou H, and Betty B!
