Kirsten’s info:
I am a student therapist and licensed School Counselor currently completing the clinical requirements to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I earned my Master’s of Education from Wichita State University in December 2016 and bring years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families within educational settings. My background allows me to approach therapy with a strong understanding of development, systems, and the unique challenges individuals face across different life stages.
I work with individuals ages 5 and up, with a special focus on adolescents, young adults, and expecting and postpartum mothers. I support clients navigating concerns such as self-esteem, anxiety, depression, self-harm, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional regulation. My preferred therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based practices, psychodynamic therapy, person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing. I believe therapy is a collaborative process—one where I walk alongside you on your individual and unique journey with compassion, empathy, and a safe space using trauma-informed care.
J’s info:
I am a student therapist currently completing my final year of a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Liberty University’s program. My professional goal is to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I work with individuals ages 10 and older and support clients experiencing concerns such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, divorce-related stress, ADHD, and trauma-related issues.
I am passionate about helping individuals overcome the obstacles that prevent them from living their best and most fulfilling lives. My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and attachment-based interventions. I also offer
faith-based counseling when desired and incorporate creative therapeutic techniques to meet clients where they are. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where all individuals feel heard, valued, and empowered in their healing journey.
