🎉 We are thrilled to announce a new addition to the Flourish Collective, Dakota Driskill, LPC. 🎉

Dakota provides a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe exploring their unique experiences and challenges. He values understanding each person’s background and tailors his approach to meet their individual needs. Dakota supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and life transitions, helping them build resilience and develop personalized strategies for growth and healing. 💙

Dakota also has a background in special education and specializes in supporting individuals navigating Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).

Dakota sees clients in person in Wichita and via teletherapy through Simple Practice, a HIPAA-secure platform, allowing him to work with clients anywhere in Kansas.

2025 held so much depth at Flourish Wellness Collective 🤍

Behind every number is a real human:

This year reminded us that healing is not one-size-fits-all.

✨ The holidays can be beautiful… and still emotionally hard.

There’s a common belief that once the lights go up and the music starts, our stress or sadness should magically melt away. But mental health doesn’t follow the holiday calendar — and struggling this time of year doesn’t mean you’re ungrateful, dramatic, or “missing the spirit.” It means you’re human, carrying real experiences into a season that often asks a lot of us.

👉Festive moments can coexist with anxiety.
👉Joy can sit right beside grief.
👉Connection can happen alongside overwhelm.

Decorations and celebrations may bring warmth, but they don’t erase trauma triggers, burnout, depression, or the emotional load this season sometimes revives. That’s why support, coping skills, and gentle self-awareness are still just as important right now as any other time of year.

If you’re feeling more tender than cheerful this season, you’re not alone — and there’s nothing wrong with you. Honor your needs. Make space for your feelings. And reach out if you need a little extra support navigating the heavier parts of the holidays. 💛
