Brandi Brace, CPM and Christy Gimben, CPM practice Traditional Midwifery & are committed to helping you achieve a God-honoring birth, offering home births, water births, VBAC'S, and more. We are passionate about providing gentle, personal, and evidence-based midwifery care and home birth services. Kathy is a 5th generation midwife and Brandi is following suit. Both of us feel honored by the friendships & relationships we build with our families. We're catching the grandbabies of our original clients! We look forward to meeting you!

⭐Welcome to the world, sweet Zion Lemuel⭐

This family's journey to parenthood has been one of faith, patience, and love. After opening their hearts and home through adoption and welcoming 4 beautiful children, they dreamed of adding to their family through birth.

But the road wasn't easy. Many years of being unable to conceive. Two precious losses and so much waiting, so many tears, so many prayers.
And then... a miracle. 🌟

Though baby's arrival included an unexpected cesarean, mama was a warrior and both are doing wonderfully. Sometimes our birth stories don't go as planned, but the ending is just as beautiful.

Welcome to the world, precious Zion. You were prayed for, hoped for, and worth every step of the journey! 💙✨

Honoring Kim & Raising Awareness for Amniotic Fluid Embolism (AFE) 🌟

As many of you know, my dear friend and sister-midwife Deidre lost her sister, Kim, during childbirth 35 years ago due to a rare obstetric emergency called Amniotic Fluid Embolism (AFE). This heartbreaking loss has significantly impacted her life and work in maternal health.

This year, with the support of the AFE Foundation, she worked with the Governor’s office to have March 27th officially recognized in Kansas as Amniotic Fluid Embolism Awareness Day.

To honor Kim and help bring further awareness to AFE, she is hosting a gathering on March 27th. It will be a time to remember Kim, share about AFE awareness, and connect with friends, family, and community members.

Our repeat client welcomed her precious baby girl Lucia Fae!
After a cesarean birth with her first, mama had a beautiful and empowering vaginal delivery this time around.
Baby arrived a little earlier than expected and made a fast entrance—keeping everyone on their toes! Big brother was so excited to meet his new little sister.

Congratulations to this sweet family! We're honored to have been part of both of your birth stories.💕✨

This little one arrived quickly and smoothly. Dad was absolutely incredible—fully present and all in, supporting mama every step of the way. And big sister? She was absolutely THRILLED to finally meet her new sibling! 👧💕

💗Welcome to the world, sweet Ilaria Lynn💗

This mama is a warrior in every sense of the word! With 2 big brothers and 3 big sisters already at home AND running a restaurant during her pregnancy, she's proven time and again that she can handle anything.

Her birth journey over the years has included cesarean, premature labor, and a hospital transfer—but this time? This time she got the peaceful, natural birth she'd been hoping for.✨

We'll admit—we were on the edge of our seats managing a few concerns along the way, but mama trusted her body, we trusted the process, and in the end, baby arrived safely in our birth suite with no complications. 💗🙏🏼

February was full of strength and sweet new beginnings. 🤍

We’re especially celebrating the incredible mamas who achieved their VBACs this month — what a testament to courage, preparation, and trust in their bodies.

This month also included births across multiple settings, including one planned hospital birth and one transfer during labor. No matter where birth unfolds, our commitment remains the same.

We believe care should be consistent, compassionate, and respectful — in every setting. Our role is to walk with you, advocate for you, and ensure you feel supported every step of the way. 🤍✨
