Welcome to our FB Page! We're a mother / daughter midwifery team serving families across Wichita and South Central KS. Birth is an intrinsic part of who we are!

Brandi Brace, CPM and Christy Gimben, CPM practice Traditional Midwifery & are committed to helping you achieve a God-honoring birth, offering home births, water births, VBAC'S, and more. We are passionate about providing gentle, personal, and evidence-based midwifery care and home birth services. Kathy is a 5th generation midwife and Brandi is following suit. Both of us feel honored by the friendships & relationships we build with our families. We're catching the grandbabies of our original clients! We look forward to meeting you!

💗Welcome to the world, sweet Ilaria Lynn💗

This mama is a warrior in every sense of the word! With 2 big brothers and 3 big sisters already at home AND running a restaurant during her pregnancy, she's proven time and again that she can handle anything.

Her birth journey over the years has included cesarean, premature labor, and a hospital transfer—but this time? This time she got the peaceful, natural birth she'd been hoping for.✨

We'll admit—we were on the edge of our seats managing a few concerns along the way, but mama trusted her body, we trusted the process, and in the end, baby arrived safely in our birth suite with no complications. 💗🙏🏼

February was full of strength and sweet new beginnings. 🤍

We’re especially celebrating the incredible mamas who achieved their VBACs this month — what a testament to courage, preparation, and trust in their bodies.

This month also included births across multiple settings, including one planned hospital birth and one transfer during labor. No matter where birth unfolds, our commitment remains the same.

We believe care should be consistent, compassionate, and respectful — in every setting. Our role is to walk with you, advocate for you, and ensure you feel supported every step of the way. 🤍✨

January was a wonderfully slow month—and we're grateful for it!✨
Even in our quieter months, we celebrate every single birth with the same joy and excitement!
This January we welcomed:
👧 One beautiful girl born peacefully at home
👶 One handsome boy welcomed at the hospital

Slower months remind us to pause and truly savor each birth—the anticipation, the miracle, the first cry, the tears of joy. We never want to rush past these moments.
Two families celebrating new life. Two healthy babies in loving arms. Two birth stories we're honored to have been part of.

Whether your birth story includes a change in plans, a shift in position, or a complete redirection, remember: flexibility doesn't mean weakness. It means you're resilient enough to bend without breaking, wise enough to listen to what your body and baby need in the moment.
