This year’s gala with the Alzheimer's Association - Central & Western Kansas Chapter felt especially meaningful.

Watching our owner, Doug Stark , present the Dennis Moore Caregiver Award—and serve as chair for the evening—was a moment of deep pride. It’s not just leadership in title, but leadership in heart, in presence, and in commitment to this work for over 33 years that stood out.

What made the night even more powerful was seeing the full circle of community in the room with families, partners, and some of our long-time caregivers who show up every single day, doing the real, human work on the floor. The kind of work that doesn’t always get a spotlight, but is everything.

We are grateful to be a gold sponsor of this event and to stand alongside an organization so committed to education, prevention, and an unwavering hope for advances toward a cure.

It was a beautiful reminder, this work is collective, it is personal, and it matters deeply

We had the pleasure of hearing the Great Plains Dulcimer Alliance perform at one of our West side homes this afternoon.
Their set list included some traditional dulcimer songs as well as a few that we could sing along with! After the club members were finished performing, they encouraged the residents to try out each of their instruments. It was a wonderful experience and we can't wait for them to come back and perform again!

Nothing like getting your hands in the dirt

Every year we do our annual planting at each of our homes and it just so happened to fall on Earth Day which made it all the better.
