Dr. Janasek and the entire staff are thankful for the opportunity to take part in your family’s eye care needs. Our office serves Wichita and the surrounding communities. We are glad to be your eye care provider. MEET THE DOCTOR
DR. JEFF JANASEK, O.D. A graduate from Pittsburg State University, Dr. Janasek received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology in 1988. While attending PSU, he met his wife Cindy and they were married before moving out west for Optometry School. In May 1992 Dr. Janasek graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry and by September 1992 he had joined the practice. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Kansas Optometric Association, the Wichita Optometric Society and the Eyecare Council. Locally Dr. Janasek is known as the “cow eye guy” as he has volunteered since 1992 helping thousands of 3rd to 5th grade students dissect cow eyes in Science classrooms across Wichita and the surrounding communities. He has also been active with his two sons in Boy Scouts of America, both of which have earned their Eagle Rank. Serving as a scout leader for 15 years, he has attended all three of the BSA High Adventure bases with his sons and was awarded the Silver Beaver award (the highest award a local Boy Scout Council can give). He is a member of Central Christian Church.
