We have our first Foster Parent Orientation being hosted May 2nd, 2026!

What to expect:
-Lunch will be given to those families who attend
-There will be childcare provided for any family that brings their children
-Implementing & reiterating foster family policies, trainings, and procedures

Spring is Here! 💐🌷🌺

Our agency meeting was a very nice welcoming to the new season we entered into.

Every month, one of our own hosts our meeting and some create a theme to go with that month!

So here’s to the leaves turning green, the snow melting, and the flowers blooming!

RFS is ready for the new season as the Lord wills it! 🌞

We closed out the month of March with a few of our ladies of RFS!

They were asked what National Women’s Month meant to them & they had some very insightful things to say.

We appreciate all of our women of this nation that have impacted
the world we live in today and the contributions they have paid for us.

Here’s to all of the women that make it happen, everyday!

Today was the first day we went to United Methodist Open Door & volunteered our services to help feed the unhoused. It was such a wonderful experience for our staff to be able to give back to our community in this way!

We have committed to visit Open Door quarterly to build connection & serve our community in the best way we know how; “being the change we wish to see in the world!”

A man was singing throughout the time we spent there “Jesus is on the main line, tell Him what you need” & we couldn’t have agreed more with his worship!

Thank you Lord for this opportunity you have given us to be a vessel in this community, in this city, & in this world!

Thank you Open Door Mission for having us!!

Hello family and friends!

We wanted to remind you that this upcoming month of March we will be hosting our very first meeting with high school students grades 9th-12th.

Every first Saturday of every month we will meet at RFS.

We will be educating them on scholarships and different options of schooling they will have access to once they graduate and much more!

We will be hosting from 11:00am to 3:00pm on March 7th!

Lunch will be provided!!

Meet Sharilyn Ray,

The inspiring founder and CEO of Restoration Family Services. In September 2017, after nearly five years in child welfare, Sharilyn felt a calling for a new approach. Driven by a desire for meaningful change and guided by her faith, she embarked on a mission to bring healing and restoration to families through Christ. Instead of taking the easier path, Sharilyn embraced her calling, allowing her work to be a vessel for God's transformative power in the lives of children and their families. Her employees would describe her as knowledgeable, generous, supportive, ethical and trustworthy. When Sharilyn is not at work she enjoys playing volleyball, spending time with her foster, adopted, and biological children and is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first grandchild in February 2025!
