We Stand with Survivors, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

💜October marks the start of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 💜

KCSDV and advocates across Kansas ask that you take a moment to recognize survivors and uplift them and all the people working for a future free from violence.

It will take all of us in the community building a network of allies and advocates to prevent and respond to domestic violence. Every day victims and survivors get the help they need to safely leave abusive relationships and begin to heal. Lets continue that progress and hold space for those we have lost and who are still struggling.

Visit your local domestic violence advocacy program to learn how you can support survivors, strengthen services, and be part of ending domestic violence in Kansas.
