So thankful for another amazing sponsor for our Recovery in Bloom event, Yes, I did just notice the parallel of the names 😂

Bite and Bloom is owned by Rachel Conrad who is a member of The Village and provides amazing expertise in the world of speech and language pathology, feeding differences, and client advocacy.

She stands along with our other sponsors in helping aid with treatment costs with her sponsorship. We have raised $1,500 so far and I believe we can hit that $5,000 goal!

What do you think of the boiling pot analogy? I had clients tell me ALL THE TIME they don’t want to “nag.” What if, we didn’t wait until we’re seeing red to bring up an issue? What if we saw our partner as someone on our team that we can problem solve with?

I completely understand why some people do this. They have been taught to think “they won’t listen to me unless I blowup.” If this is you, I recommend sharing this with your partner, talking about it more, and seeing if this could benefit your relationship. Also, couples therapy doesn’t need to be off the table until we on the verge of breaking up. You can utilize couples therapy at any point.

As there always is, we need to acknowledge the nuance. This may not work for everyone but it may work do some.
